AMAGER PANEL 1779 and Greetings Card Projects Produced with permission from The Danish Folk Museum, this style of embroidery, was brought to Denmark by Dutch settlers nearly 500 years ago. Some comparisons are made with the embroidery from the Isle of Marken Stitched on White 32 count linen with an indigo coloured thread in the tradition of the their distinctive costumes. Jacqueline has also suggested small sections of the main pattern that are suitable for stitching greeting cards. Stitch count 204 x 137 Copyright by Jacqueline Holdsworth
