Strong, flexible and resilient, Gilt Sylke Twist is designed to be used in many types of needlework, whether for historical reproduction or present-day needle art. Gilt wire is composed of ½% gold on a silver plated copper core. Filament silk is an untwisted, flat silk. A #24 chenille needle is recommended, but you can also use a #24 tapestry needle.
