Gloriana Luminescence

Gloriana Luminescence is an over-dyed silk twist (Soie 100/3) that comes in a wide variety of colors. This is a new addition to our line of threads and as colors become available photos will be posted. The list below are the colors currently available (even if the photo isn't ready yet).

Luminescence will come in most of the same colors that our Silk Floss is available in. Skeins are available in 20 yard, 40 yard or 100 yard lengths.

Luminescence is a single strand buttonhole twist which may be used alone or multiple strands may be used to achieve the coverage your require. It is a very smooth, shiny thread and stitches appear to sparkle because of the way the silk twist reflects light. If you like to stitch with silk, you'll love stitching with Luminescence.

The photographs are of large hanks in order to show distinct color changes. Since this is a single strand thread when it is made into skeins, the separate colors are more difficult to see. To stitch with more than strand of Luminescence with the color changes lined up, place each strand next to another and move until like colors are next to each other as much as possible.
