Elena Tratman is an English sampler featuring a delightful pink house and verse by John Wesley. Elena was born in Gloucester, England in 1814. She married William Dauncey, a tailor, on August 12, 1837. Sadly, she died 10 years later without issue.
The sampler is stitched with mostly cross stitch over two threads. Charted for DMC floss with one Weeks Dye Works.
The stitch count is 230 x 329.

The Sun itself is but thy Shade
