Hands Across the Sea Samplers are proud to present to you, a beautiful reversible band sampler from the private collection of Nicola Parkman. Bathya's sampler has a remarkable history and takes pride of place in her collection.

This beautiful reversible band sampler has been reproduced with Au ver a Soie silks based on the vibrant colours found on the front of the sampler today. The strand quantities have been calculated based on 1 strand on 36 count of fabric.

Stitches used are: Reversible cross stitch, double back stitch. diagonal back stitch (closed herringbone), detached buttonhole, French knots, four sided stitch, satin stitch, stem stitch, eyelet, running and Holbein stitch.

A conversion into DMC and Needlepoint Silks is included on the chart.
