The majority of the sampler is worked in regular cross stitch over two threads of linen using one strand of cotton, except where it is noted otherwise. An alphabet at the top of the sampler is worked with four-sided stitch, other stitches include Algerian Eyelet and Satin Stitch.
The sampler is stitched using stranded cottons by The Gentle Art.
