Registration & Deposit - 'Celebrating Milestones with Friends'

Come and join us for a very special event, a weekend with international guest tutors, Stacy Nash from Stacy Nash Primitive Designs and Vickie LoPiccolo Jennett from NeedleWorkPress.

The ‘Celebrating Milestones with Friends’ Retreat from 9 - 11 October 2026 will be an opportunity to gather and celebrate special friendships and connections. Stacy and Vickie will bring with them exclusive needlework projects and a fascinating insight into early samplers, including a direct link to Australia. An event not to be missed!

There will be limited seats available, so get together with your stitching friends and make plans for a fabulous spring trip to Sydney in October 2026.

Weekend Retreat Location:
Whiteley Ballroom, Amora Hotel
Jamison Street, Sydney
(nearest public transport: Wynyard Train Station, Light Rail – George Street, Ferry – Circular Quay)

Dates & Times:
Friday: 9 October 2026 – Welcome (The Crewel Gobelin, Killara)
Saturday: 10 October 2026 – Workshop 10am – 4.00pm
Sunday: 11 October 2026 – Workshop 10am – 4.00pm

Hosted by: The Crewel Gobelin – as part of our 50th year anniversary celebrations.

Meet & Greet:
Come and say hello to Stacy and Vickie before the Weekend Retreat. Catchup with friends old and new, enjoy the nibbles, lucky draw prizes, Retreat exclusives and of course there will be time to shop! This is a complimentary event for registered workshop participants only.

Location: The Crewel Gobelin, 9 Marian Street Killara.

‘Celebrating Milestones with Friends’ Weekend Retreat:
Date: Saturday & Sunday 10 - 11 October 2026
Location: Amora Hotel, Jamison Street, Sydney
Timing: These are FULL DAY Workshops.

What’s included in the Weekend Retreat fee:
  • Meet & Greet on Friday at The Crewel Gobelin with complimentary nibbles + drinks
  • The Crewel Gobelin 50th year anniversary exclusive attendee ‘Sampler’ Bag
  • Workshop with Stacy Nash and Vickie Jennett on Saturday and Sunday
  • Multiple project kits, including two exclusive reproduction samplers
  • Morning, afternoon tea and a buffet lunch, including mineral water, soft drinks and juice on Saturday and Sunday in the Croft Restaurant (Amora Hotel).
The Retreat fee does not cover accommodation costs, breakfasts or dinners. There will be an opportunity to purchase additional kits and exclusives that Stacy and Vickie will be bringing with them and only available at the Retreat.

Retreat Fee AUD$1,150.00
Deposit: AUD$350.00 Payable at registration
2nd Payment: AUD$400.00 Payable by 30 April 2026
Balance: AUD$400 Payable by 31 August 2026

Registration Process:
A deposit is required to secure your place; payment in full will be required by 31 August 2026 to attend. We regret that we are unable to offer a full or partial refund if you are unable to attend on the day. Registration is non transferrable.

Accommodation & Travel:
Any accommodation or travel costs are the responsibility of the attendee and are not included in the cost of the Retreat. The Crewel Gobelin is not responsible for any associated, or required, accommodation or travel requirements. Post registration a discount code will be provided for accommodation at the Amora Hotel.

Food & Beverages:
Coffee, tea and chilled water will be made available during the Retreat in the Whiteley Ballroom. Morning tea, a buffet lunch and afternoon tea will be provided on Saturday and Sunday by the Croft Restaurant, at the Amora Hotel. Additional food including beverages and incidental purchases made at the Hotel or off-site are not included in the Retreat fee.

Payments and Cancellation:
A deposit of AUD$350.00 is required at the time of booking to confirm your place. Your deposit is non-refundable for any cancellations after 30 April 2026. Any cancellations prior to 30 April 2026 will incur an administration fee of AUD$150.00. Two further payments are required - AUD$400.00 by 30 April 2026 and the balance of AUD$400.00 by 31 August 2026.

Attendance Conditions:
The Crewel Gobelin reserves the right to refuse entry or omit from the workshop any attendees who affect the running or smooth operation of the Retreat. Attendees must not use the event to advertise or promote any other business. No refund will be provided for attendees breaching these conditions.
